SMART CUT® Rubber Bond Abrasive Cut Off Blades are solid core wafering blades designed for controlled, low-heat sectioning in metallography and materials sample preparation. SMART CUT®  blades are manufactured using a continuous rubber bond matrix, where the abrasive is uniformly distributed throughout the entire blade thickness. The rubber bond provides a compliant cutting action that reduces heat generation, minimizes vibration, and delivers a smooth and stable cut. This construction helps preserve microstructure and prevent thermal damage, making these blades well suited for sensitive or critical samples.
