SMART CUT® Resin Bond Diamond Polishing Cloth Belts are designed for a smoother, finer finish, ideal for delicate and heat-sensitive materials. The resin bond encapsulates the diamond particles in a polymer matrix, affording excellent diamond retention with reduced heat generation during operation. This makes them perfect for achieving high-quality finishes on composites, plastics, and soft metals, ensuring minimal chipping and maximum surface integrity.
Available in a variety of sizes to accommodate both hand-held and robotic machinery—including fit-to-hand, cross belt, and robotic machine options—our belts are engineered to master the most challenging materials. Rated over 7 on the Mohs scale (equivalent to 800 Knoop), they are exceptionally effective on materials traditionally difficult to grind or polish, such as thermal spray coatings, High-Velocity Oxygen Fuel (HVOF) coatings, advanced ceramics, composites, chilled iron, and various non-ferrous metals.
