Sintered (metal bonded) diamond tools have multiple layers of diamonds impregnated inside the metal matrix. Diamonds are furnaces sintered in a matrix made of iron, cobalt, nickel, bronze, copper, tungsten, alloys of these powders or other metals in various combinations. Metal bonded diamond tools are impregnated” with diamonds.

Resin Bond

Available in a large variety of diamond, thicknesses, arbor/mandrel sizes, geometries, diamond sizes, diamond concentrations, and bond harnesses. Dicing Saws

Low Speed Wafering / Sectioning Saws

Used for cross sectioning of a large variety of specimens for metallographic failure analysis process. low- speed, precision cut-off machine for sectioning all types of materials. The cutting speed is continuously variable from 0 to 600 RPM. The required specimen size can be set with an accuracy of + 0.003 mm, by means of LCD digital micrometer, and the cutting pressure can be selected independent of the weight of the specimen.

Gang Saws

Gang saws are used for high production operations. Many gang saws are capable of producing 400 to 6,000 parts per minute. Gang arbor accepts 10 to e150 blades. Blades cut simultaneously, providing unparallel consistent performance.

Band Saws

Band saws are available for both hobby and production applications. Used for rough and fast cutting of material. Provide less loss of material, than conventional sawing methods. Remain the choice of many users and machine shops.

CUBIC BORON NITRIDE (CBN)

Why Use Cubic Boron Nitride?

Cubic Boron Nitride (CBN) is a synthetic material that is renowned for its exceptional hardness and high thermal stability. machining ferrous materials such as hardened steels, cast iron, and superalloys. Its hardness and thermal stability make it highly effective in high-speed machining operations, where it can withstand the heat and pressures generated during cutting processes.

CBN is recommended for cutting had metals, specially iron and steel. Since carbon in steel reacts with carbon in diamond, quickly dulling the diamond crystal and slowing the material removal. CBN blades provide significantly reduced cutting times for tough, gummy materials, such as lead and titanium. However, CBN are not recommended for ceramics and other non metallic materials.

These blades will provide precise cutting capability on difficult to cut samples/materials. These CBN blades will significantly reduce your cutting time on ferrous materials compared to conventional diamond wafering blades.
